Confront

People often say that wisdom comes with time; which means with age, and I can’t disagree with that. I am certainly far wiser than I was just a few years ago. However, provided with the right tools, resources, and support, a woman or man of any age can gain insight into themselves and the world around them that could help them change their entire approach to grabbing for the gold ring of riches in their own life.

If you have ever felt internal angst, anger, stress, fear, insecurity, negativity, unworthiness, or any one of the other negative beliefs (‘bitches), and you haven’t confronted and faced those ‘bitches’ head on in the mirror, there are simple things you can do today to shed those nasty demons once and for all, so you can live a full rich life:

1.    Seek professional help

2.    Read and reread self-help books (and take action on the lessons they are providing)

3.    Dialogue with family or friends (though some find it hard to bare their soul)

4.    Dig deep, excavate your soul and CONFRONT your bitches!

Whether the bitches in your head are over office politics, home relationships, a trying divorce, a chronic illness, your weight, your singlehood, a midlife change, or any other life challenge, you are not alone, you do not deserve to be unhappy, and you do not have to live with them.

RICHtips:

  • Journal responses to the following questions that will help you to confront the limiting beliefs holding you back from achieving your goals.
  • Dig deep and be honest no matter the emotions that come up. Remember, self-awareness is key for change.
  • Reach out to the community on Facebook or Twitter if you need support.

QUESTIONS TO HELP YOU CONFRONT:

What are your life dreams and goals?

What fears, insecurities, bitches cause you to feel ugly, sad, get stuck, etc.?

What events, situations, people, places create those fears now or in the past?

What impact does each of those bitches have on you?

What benefits do those fears give you?

What is preventing you from facing them?

What would life be like if you shed them?

BONUS TIPS:

  • Journal the answers to the above questions in depth.
  • Journal your emotions (good or hard) daily.
  • Now journal your gratitudes.
  • Identify an affirmation that inspires you.
